ذكرت المستشارة الألمانية أنجيلا ميركل اليوم السبت أن الحكومة الائتلافية، التي يتولى تسيير شؤونها منافسوها في ولاية شمال الراين فيستفاليا الألمانية، تدار بالاستدانة، وذلك قبل يوم من انتخابات الولاية.
وقالت ميركل، أمام أنصارها في آخن اليوم السبت، إن دينا جديدا في الولاية الأكثر اكتظاظا بالسكان في ألمانيا، أعلى من نظيره في كل الولايات الألمانية الأخرى مجتمعة.
وأضافت: " هناك شيء ما خطأ هنا "، مشيرة إلى أنه رغم الدين الجديد، فإن عدد الأطفال في كل فصل دراسي أعلى في شمال الراين فيستفاليا من نظرائهم في أي ولاية أخرى في البلاد.
ويتوجه أكثر من 2ر13 مليون ناخب إلى مراكز الاقتراع غدا الأحد في أكبر ولاية ألمانية في انتخابات من المتوقع أن تساعد في تمهيد الساحة لانتخابات وطنية في سبتمبر.
أشارت استطلاعات الرأي إلى سباق متقارب للغاية بين الحزب المسيحي الديمقراطي المنتمية إليه ميركل والحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي في الولاية التي يبلغ تعداد سكانها 18 مليون نسمة.
يحكم الاشتراكي الديمقراطي حاليا الولاية في ائتلاف مع حزب الخضر.
وقالت ميركل : " الحزب المسيحي الديمقراطي يقدم شيئا مختلفا عن الحكومة الائتلافية للحزب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي والخضر"، داعية الحضور الذين يبلغ عددهم 1200 تقريبا للتصويت غدا الأحد.
